I am not overly political, but to all you Harper-fans out there, don't be fooled by his holier than thou face....he's still a Ralph Klein-Brian Mulroney-Stockwell Day-Harris-Eves clone,we Ontarians as well as Albertans know how dangerous these people can be!!
Sorry, but I feel very strongly about this, don't want a political debate...

Here here Anita I couldn't have said that better myself!!

Reform - Alliance - Progressive Conserv merger to just now Conservative

I see smoke and fire on this one! This guys a Mike Harris clone for sure. If you're wealthy CEO's and executives pulling in 6figure incomes this guys for you! BUT wait, only if your caucasion. ;)

OOpse did I say that?

You are so right to be scared of this guy. He will be our own George Bush, I shudder to think of what he could do. He basically wants to desimate the film industry which would loose approx. 3 Billion dollars in revenue to our city and that is just Toronto not what would be lost Canada wide. So think before you vote and don't fall for a false face.

How can one chose a candidate anymore? I mean really.....they never keep the promises they make!! So what they say is just B***S**** to get your vote......then they do what ever the H*** they want

Yes,Iggette I know what you mean,it's more like chosing the lesser of three evils, but isn't it always?
I am actually very concerned about Harper winning and forming a government,we in Ontario know what the PC's did, poisoned water,teacher-strikes etc....His closest advisor is Brian Mulroney, remember Brian and his free trade agreement etc..

The only thing I can say I like about Brian Mulroney is his son Ben ;)

Ya I remember all too well thinking we were going to be the next 'state' during the Mulroney years.

Myself for many years I was fond of many aspects of the Liberal party. Dalton McGuinty has changed my views now as has the cover up with the federal FIBerals on the sponsorship scandal (so who knew about it Mr. Martin, ya never did answer that question) Figures the 'report' will be out AFTER the election (sneaky sneaky)

Well, thats it for me and those two parties! I AM a fan of Jack Layton from his counsellor days here in Toronto.

I'm really p'd off with the fiberals right now! Their idiotic approach to reducing health care waits, premiums and so called better health care by lowering the deficit through getting rid of OHIP covered things like Optometry, Chiropractic care and Physiotherapy.

I could go on for eons about how this is going to back fire....

Starting the ball off by saying...now 'everyone' who can't afford to pay an optometrist has to go to an Ophthalmologist. The current referral wait to Opthalmologists is roughly 3 weeks in 'serviced' areas. Underserviced areas people are waiting close to a 'year' for consultation.

This you can double now.

Physio and Chiropractic care keep people pain free and mobile, able to work and not paying out millions of dollars in narcotic pain management. Well you're gonna see an incline of prescription pain med addicts who can't go to work and end up needing to go to a pain management clinic.

Funny how'those' things are covered by OHIP yet cost MORE! Hmmmm

Now an Optometrist does not bill OHIP the same fee schedule an Ophthalmologist does so an Optometrist can see 2 pts for the price of 1 pt or even .5 pt of an Opthlalmologist. Hmm costs more 'again'

OH geeze see I got started now :D
shuttin up for a bit lmao

First I must say that politics irk me, whoever can lie the best is the winner..How sad is that? Second No matter how bad the Ralph Kleins of the world are they do have some priceless verbal Diarrhea! Like the Drunken Klein who accosts people at homless shelters and tells them to get jobs....
What was that all about? I hate the fact that they cut out chiro....but add sex change ops...another priceless moment.
My boyfriend said that he was going to make us get sex changes just to prove a point(he's so weid sometimes), Thank God that they amended that rule or I would have to change my whole profile.....

Luba, you are right the Liberals screwed up,but by punishing them we could end up with Harper,Miss Stronach,Harris and Mulroney as advisers, just thinking of it makes me very concerned about my Canada.
Ralph Klein is an uneducated looney-tune and Albertans better braze themselves for his "Health-care reform",since my son lives there I am a bit concerned. He pays $135 every three month in health-premiums and there is loads of stuff not covered.
I too have always liked Layton and his wife? But there is no way on earth we could afford an NDP government and he knows it,thats why he can come up with all these wonderful ideas for the home-less and the poor..
I think McGuinty did what he had to do,but they better come clean about this scandal and soon.
But Harper as a primeminister....it would be the downfall of my beloved Canada

I pray every night that Albertans will come to their senses and not vote in Klein again.....he is a monster and will stop at nothing to better himself...he doesn't give a rats ass about people....seniors and children in particular! Our education system is crumbling, I shudder to think of what he is going to do to our health care, and he is just an all around slime ball extraodinairre!

I got an interesting email today....had some good points but tried to convince the reader to vote conservative....so I just took it with a grain of salt. Please DO NOT think I support these thoughts...just wanted to share what I thought was interesting! I am NO Harper fan, thats for sure!!

Catt31,I agree with you about Ralph Klein, every time I hear him try to talk,I am stunned that anyone who seems completely without class or manners could ever make it as a premier of a province.
As for Harper,he is is wolf in sheeps clothing, familyman, goes to church regularly,is not a millionaire, but I bet he will be if he takes office :D
Taxcuts have to be paid for from somewhere and usually comes from education, healthcare, the poor and homeless.
I sincerely hope it will not happen,we in Ontario know what arrogant, meanspirited asses(not a profanity :D )the Pc's are.

babykitty, have the op, it might give a new perspective on life, and if not well at least clothing is cheaper for men :D . so sorry that the world is inundated by crappy politicians, in first year at uni a wise man told me- the word politician means this- poly=many, tics=blood sucking parasites, yes i agree with that. bad pollies are everywhere, i shake my head daily at the aussie government, have you seen a pic of our primeminister, omg, he looks like a very ugly beaver and has the character and brains to match gosh, it is sooo embarassing when he goes to america, i wish he would wear a paper bag, and he is weird so the world thinks we are weird for electing him, he wont be around long though. oh and he snorts alot and giggles like a deviant, so not a good look
