To Inform Newcomers

Hi Marko

Is there a way we can post a new sticky or something to inform newcomers about the time delay in posting pictures?? and how long they have to wait in order to do so??

It seem a lot of us don't really know the time delay or how we can advise them..

thanks..

yup a good idea!
FYI , it's usually 24-48 hours depending when they registered.

We left it vague so that spammers won't know, but it's causing more hassles than anything else. damn spammers - can't they get a life? can't they take their own damn viagra to keep busy or take viagra and watch their own porn?

WHERE do you think would be best to post it?
what about the top 15 questions forum?

thx all!

Marko

or maybe the FAQ ?? or is that the same as you said..

I thought it was how many posts you have..

so what happens if it last more than 48 hours do we tell them to PM you??

or leave it up so that most of the regulars know and then remove it..

just a thought..:)

I think it's 2 posts AND 24-48 hours...then it happens automatically.

woops - forgot to mention...if a new member who does not have pic posting privileges is getting the shakes because they want their pic-posting fix right away, well a quick PM or email to me is all that is needed - I can manually activate the permission for them.

This is only temporary though...we may have a better solution for all of this coming shortly.

Thx all!

Marko, I know nothing about websites but is there not a program that blocks spamers like the one we have on our email??

or take viagra and watch their own porn?

 well, if they're watching it alone I don't think it would be a good idea to take the viagra
