My 10 year old cat has suddenly started peeing in the house. Only at night, doesnt happen during the day. I dont know whether to consult the vet as she is ok otherwise. Is she just getting old? I have 2 cats but it seems as though she cant help it, although strange that it only happens at night, even if she has been out in the garden beforehand. Advice would be appreciated.

Hi, Cazallen. Welcome to the board.

Any time an animal shows a change in behavior it's a good idea to rule out medical causes first. So a vet visit would be a good place to start.

10 is not especially old for a cat so I don't think it has something to do with her age. It may be crystals or the start of a blockage, though, so the sooner you can get her in for a good checkup, the better. :thumbs up

Please keep us posted on how she's doing!
