In October Angus had his teeth cleaned. He's only 2.5 years old and he had the beginnings of gingivitis/gum disease, severly inflamed gums and lots of tartar and build up. After the proccedure the vet gave us Oxyfresh (http://oxyfresh.com/pet/petoralhygiene.asp) to put in his drinking water. I've been using it religiously and it seems to be doing the trick.

I'm concerned with the longterm effects of using Oxyfresh. Has anyone heard anything about it?

Here are the ingredients, I'm not sure if any of them are actually harmful.

Deionized Water (Aqua), Oxygene® (Stabilized Chlorine Dioxide), Zinc Acetate, Sodium Citrate, Chlorophyllin-Copper Complex, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Hydroxide, Citric Acid

What do ya'll think?
