Is Guar gum safe for Dogs

I have been thinking of using Guar gum in some of my recipes for my Dogs,
But before I use anything new I kinda like to get a little details on the stuff,
Anyone know anything about this ingredients Safety & Dogs?

If there is any chance its unsafe then I don't want to use it

Guar gum is used in many human and pet food applications, and it used as a binder to help foods stay together. It has an AAFCO # as being safe for use in pet food, as well as FDA approval.
