Ridiculous amount of snow

*sigh* Another huge storm hitting us ever since last night. Went out shoveling to clear the front porch door because the snow was several feet deep.

*munch munch* I like ice!

Indoor view - the window by my computer area. This is a ground floor window and we haven't even scraped the snow off the roof yet. My poor Norfolk Island Pine not getting much light either.

Not taken today, but there was some recent activity with Search and Rescue training exercises. Darn helicopter flew very low a few passes right over the house. Freaked me out until I figured out what kind of helicopter it was. After it went over the house, it went behind us into the hills, then circled around over the marsh.

We just don't get snow like that in southwestern Alberta, in the lee of the mountains . . . . you have to go into the mountains a bit to find it like that.

Do you have a metal roof or does the wind blow the snow off? I haven't seen that much snow since we lived in Kitimat. We were talking to friends up there last night and they still have 5 feet on the ground. :eek:

The pups look so happy out there though.

Guess we have about a meter left here, but it's hard to tell since it's all blowing around all over the place these days, then some new crap falls over it and blows around again... but you have it worse! :grouphug: :grouphug: spring will come - eventually!

You sure do have a lot of snow! Seems to me, when I was a kid, we had snow like that in Winnipeg - sure glad I don't have to shovel it :D
