My cat chews on her leg, in one area. Removing the hair around this skin tear, she has had this twice now. Its like a scab that doesnt heal, she bites it again before it can.
Can you tell me what to do? or what this is?

Sorry catsaremylife, wish I had an answer for you. Have you asked for a vet's opinion yet? I'd be worried about infection if the sore doesn't have a chance to heal  .
:fingerscr you figure out what's hapenning soon.

sounds like a vet visit is in order, perhaps a skin scraping for mites etc, has she been checked for fleas? some animals have allergies to fleas, or household cleaners - even just sitting on a floor cleaned with something they are allergic to will cause a reaction
you need to determine the reason for the chewing & the best way to start is with a parasite check

Any sore that doesn't heal needs to be seen by a vet. Good luck and keep us posted. :fingerscr :goodvibes:

With my guy that behaviour was allergy related, but only a vet can tell you for sure.
