His name is Elliot, he's a large grey tabby. He got of the balcony on the morning of Feb. 2, 2008. I live in Lakeview, right across from the casino. He was last seen heading east deeper into Lakeview. He's very friendly but a little shy. He's very easy to pick up. There is a reward for his return.

He is a beauty. He may not be far and the best time to look for him is at night when all is quiet. Can you leave a box outside with some of his toys/your clothes for scent purposes in your back yard? This helps cats find their way home and makes them feel secure while waiting to be rescued.

It has been very cold in Calgary lately, has he ever been outside to build up his winter fur?

What a beautiful cat. I am a cat rescuer and have many tips. If your cat has been spotted in a particular area, then that's where you should go a.s.a.p. Buy sardines and bring them with you, go in the middle of the night at 4-5 a.m. when there is no background noise and call your cat's name. Call your local rescues and S.P.C.A. on a daily basis. Make a poster with your cat's picture, sex, age. Mention if he is fixed. What street your cat got lost on. And the date. Mention if your cat has an I.D. tag or is microchipped. Then take the posters to your local vets, pet food stores, food stores that have a bulletin board. Good luck in finding your cat.

Hi! I would also speak with the MEOW Foundation, as well as all the other rescues, Calgary has a lot of resources! Is he chipped or have a tattoo? If you spot him but can't catch him, one of the rescues will lend you a trap...

I would also call Calgary Parks and Rec, and speak to those who work in the Glenmore park...and put signs up at the park too, lots of people use that park...I'd even canvass it on Saturday and Sunday morning handing out flyers...someone is bound to see him either in, to or from the park...

I have a friend in WestGlen, I will pass this to her, she drives thru Lakeview all the time...

Good luck, keep us posted!!! :grouphug:
