I Walked out in the backyard and she was nawing on this bird after I pulled her off and wiped her mouth I put her in the house. I went back to look at the bird and it was ripped apart and the head was missing. I HAVE NO CLUE IF SHE ATE THE HEAD. but would the beak harm her if it was swallowed?:pawprint:

How big was the bird? How big is your dog?
Ours are about 50 pounds and have eaten small birds now and then. We worry about the beak, too, but so far :fingerscr we've had no problems. The vet typically tells us to watch them for a few days and if they show no symptoms of distress by the third day out, they're home free.
So, unless the dog was very small and the bird was very large, just keep an eye on her. If she shows blood in the stool or becomes lethargic or goes off her food, take her in right away. Likely, though, she'll just pass the skull and all will be well.

My kitty Nosey :rip: would eat birds all the time. He would sit underneath the car and jump about 4 feet in the air to swipe down a bird. He was very proficient at it. Eating birds didn't kill him, kidney failure did in 2004.
I wouldn't worry too much and just keep an eye.
I think if dogs can digest bones to a certain degree it shouldn't technically have trouble passing a birdie head.

*chuckles* well my dog can digest a half a chickens worth of bones, i wouldnt think a bird head should give yours much trouble! very thin bone there. brain and eyeballs are quite healthy!
