Hi there, just joined so thought I'd better say hello! :thumbs up

I live in the UK and am hoping to move to Edmonton sometime this Summer, if my job comes through!

I'm owned by Isla, a 2 year old black and white English Springer and Jet, a 10 year old black moggie.

I have been previously owned by a big soft Yellow Lab and a little Terrier Cross, who both sadly passed away last year.

Here are a few pics.

All three of my muttskis last Easter:

Isla in the dusting of Snow we had earlier this month:

And finally, Jetpuss:

Thanks for looking and look forward to chatting! :)

Hi, Ripsnorter! :D Welcome to the forum! We can always use another resident nutter! Keeps things lively!

Isla is a real beauty! And Jetpuss has real bedroom eyes. :lovestruck: I'm already looking forward to more pictures (yes, even though you've posted some, we can still be very demanding about furbaby photos :o)

I'm sorry to hear about your lab and your terrier cross. :grouphug: Beautiful labby and such a cute curly terrier. :candle:

Aww thank you! Although knowing me, I think they're probably already battening down the hatches in preparation for my arrival! :highfive:

Thank you, I think so too! :D

Thank you, I lost Woody, the Lab, in June and my little Pickles (Terrierx) 2 weeks before Xmas. Still a bit heartbroken, but I know they had a fab life and my life must continue without them. Isla, being a Springer, definitely keeps me busy enough to help the healing though! ;) And Jetpuss keeps the ús rolling out of my purse at the vets!

Really hoping my job does come through, am kinda hooked on Edmonton now!

I love SNOW!

Welcome Ripsnorter!
I love Isla! :lovestruck: I have an 8-year old liver and white Springer named Barkley and had Candy, another liver and white before that! Isla looks JUST like Candy's sister, Oreo! Love the breed :)

Ripsnorter I was going to PM you with this info but you don't have that option enabled yet. Need to go back to the user CP page and adjust your settings to allow PM's. Anyway what I wanted to say was if you have any interest in seeing some beautiful photography of Alberta check out our pets photo section and look for all threads started by RickC. He is a marvy photographer and has pictures of that province that will astound you.

Except that Rick C lives near Calgary and they have alot better scenery than Edmonton does. :o But, Rick's pics are definitely worth checking out. :cloud9:

Thank you! English Springers are rather "special" aren't they? In more ways than one sometimes!

Thanks for that, will have look now. I've checked my PM status and they seemed to be enabled already, but I've tweaked it a little bit so hopefully it's working now.

Just sent my final application forms off today for my job so :fingerscr :D
