Can anyone recommend a dog vet in the Okanagan area of BC? Preferably Westbank or Kelowna.

Cheers!

I would recommend Dr. Marko Veenis at Okanagan Veterinary Hospital...

Thanks! I checked with them a year ago, and they weren't taking new patients. I'll call right now and see if they are. They seem to have the best reputation in town.

I live in the Kootenays and was referred to him by my vet here for my lab's TPLO surgeries last year. The first one was in March/07 and the second in July/07. We were also there in Sept. & Oct. for followup appointments. Good luck. :goodvibes:

Ok, I just talked to the lady there, and I have an appointment with Dr. Veenis on Saturday. Apparently he specialises in orthopedic sugery, so it should be a good match for my dog's current issue! :) Thanks!

Glad to hear you got an appointment. I would call back and ask if there is any cancellations before that you will take it. It really would be the best for your dog to get in sooner if possible. Explain to the girl the problems and how long it has been going on. Good luck and keep us posted. :goodvibes:

I have today off, but I work 8-6 M-F normally, and have had to take time off due to medical problems so I can't take any more time off.
