innocent 30 second parody video of cat Banned!

January 17th, 2008, 09:22 PM
This guy made a very cute parody of a Playboy "Playmate of The Year" video starring his cat and seems to be taking a lot of heat for it by certain cat forum communities. It is completely safe, well made, and actually quite hilarious.

I thought it was adorable! Anyone who thinks otherwise is just plain crazy!

hmm i dunno about that.....any link with the word "pornographic" relating to an animal would make one wonder....:frustrated::clown:

The video is not even close to being pornographic. Its a short montage this guy made of his cat in the style of a playboy centerfold video.

The post he made on his blog about it is called:

"30 second cat video banned, rejected and unjustly deemed borderline pornographic"

Apparently a cat forum found it offensive and if you read the comments on his blog you would see that the forum was definitely in the wrong because the video is just a really well done funny parody.

I was sharing it here because someone had sent it to me earlier today and I thought other pet lovers would get a good laugh out of it.

Honestly that was a lame video! lol

But hardly pornographic.

I don't know why people are so hard up about sex... every living thing does the deed in one form or another.

I agree. I was expecting it to show two cats humping.......there was nothing pornographic about the video at all.

Most "offensive" part was the filming of the, euh, lower tail shall we say? And the suggestive music. Other than that, a totally lame video of an obese cat.

But as for sex being everywhere, did you see the Law & Order SVU this week about the 14-year old boy who raped 3 10-12 year old girls and a 10-year old boy because he'd seen others (adults) do this on film and they were respected after having had sex so he wanted respect too! That the kids sayid no and stop was ok, because in the films they did that too but it meant they wanted more! That kid had no idea he'd done something wrong! I mean ... 1) why had the father not put a block on the TV and the computer at home? 2) why had this kid not been taught to respect others and know right from wrong? 3) what is being said in sex education at school? At 14, he should honestly have known better!

True, my generation had no clue before we were 18 or even more, but now kids have a vocabulary of an exotic dancer and a harbour worker at age 12!

Sorry :offtopic:

Sex is being artificially injected into society at an alarming rate. If things like drugs or porn are supposedly not for children, someone out there is making it easily available. And in my opinion, people are now groomed to being degenerate at a much younger age. When they grow up, they act out. More crimes are committed, society gets worse. Then the general public throws a fit for more laws, more control. They ask for governments to step in which is just essentially giving power away willingly.

If society really really wanted to get rid of things like drugs or porn, it could be done. But too many people refuse to take responsibility and look instead to governments. How often do you hear this phrase?

When will they do something about that?

Who is "they?"

Everyone should try and take some time to do lots of reading. Knowledge should not be entrusted to major broadcasting networks. They are told what to say and how to say it and really are not telling the whole truth (if at all). But everyone is overworked and underpaid and doesn't have time for reading any more and mindless entertainment has replaced continuing self-education.

That video is hilarious!:laughing: my man sent it to all his cat-loving friends... she's a very pretty cat! :D my only complaint is that the video isn't long enough.
