This is another happy story that was passed to me by way of Marie Claude who runs the dogwalking program at the Montreal SPCA. Pics at the end of the post :)
"... I just got this email from Shani, Emilio´s mom and I had to share it with you right away!! This one made me cry!!!! We have had many beautiful adoption stories at the SPCA but I feel this one is in the top 5!!! Top 3 even!!!!"
Hi Marie-Claude,
It is good to hear from you. Hope you are doing well and not working too
hard...
We are all doing very well, especially the new addition to the family ;-) He
must be the most amazing creature I have ever met. I am crazy about him!
Sometimes when he wants me to pet him, he pokes my hand with his head until I stop whatever it is I am doing and give him attention. His thirst for love
is unimaginable. He already met the other dogs in the family (my sisters'
and parents' dogs) and he gets along beautifully with all. He is so well
behaved and he seems very cheerful and peaceful. Sometimes I think I see
him smile...
We are very fortunate to have found each other.
Write back whenever you have a chance, and so will I.
Thank you again for introducing me to this wonderful animal, I don't know
how I lived before having him in my life...
