Is it okay to use some of your pics in our blog or newsletter?

Dear members,

Pets.ca has a main blog - www.pets.ca/blog
that is mostly a vehicle for putting out our podcasts (similar to a recorded radio show that can be listened to at anytime on your computer or MP3 player like an Ipod)

We also have a monthly newslette (http://pets.ca/index-newsletter.htm)r as well.

MANY MANY members have amazing pics and I'd like to include the odd few from time to time in our blog just for fun. Given that you've posted them on the BB, I'm going to assume that it is okay to post them on the blog preferring not to send out 1000's of Pms.

BUT if for whatever reason any member does not want their pic posted to our blog PLEASE just PM me.

There have been many wonderful photos posted here - any would look kewl in a blog. I need to get my camera out - not for that reason of course, haha - but I've been so wrapped up in my dad's illness but my pets know some thing's up and have been extra nice to me. That or it's also really cold and they HAVE to sleep under the covers or be ion top of me any time I am around them, lol

Our new newsletter (March) is coming out in a day or 2 and I'm just going to assume that it's okay to put a few pix from last month's challenge there as well.

Please continue to add your names if it's cool on the rare occasion to use some pics for our blog and/or newsletter.

BTW - If you haven't added your name and email to our free newsletter list, now would be a good time. Just add it into the yellow bar on most pages in the site. FYI we never share/sell/rent or do anything despicable the info. we receive.

Me too Chico. I signed up a while back and got one very short (one page, no pics) newsletter and that's it. :shrug:

And any of my little ones are available for photo ops. :D You don't need to ask.

For those that signed up a LONG time ago, please sign up again using this new automated system. It's all free. The names from the old list did NOT transfer to the new list. If anyone that signed up using our new system is having trouble, please just PM or email me.

Only got a couple on here at the mo being a fairly new member and all but you can use any of my pics that i post on here if you want to.

Marko I have consulted with Abby, Kato and Jersey and Mac, they have all given their consent for their pics to be used, should you choose to use them.
Theedee and Wendell (the felines), have also granted consent.
I didn't bother consulting with Stewie (rabbit) or LeStat (cornsnake), but I'm sure if you were to use their pics they wouldn't mind.

BTW - In case you want this newsletter but are not subscribed...it's free. All you have to do is drop your name and email address into the yellow navbar and anytime we put out a new newsletter, you'll get it automatically. You'll need to confirm that indeed you wanted the newsletter by clicking a link that gets sent to the email address that you register with.

We never trade, sell, rent, pimp out or use your email address for anything other than sending you this newsletter and of course it's simple to unsubscribe should you ever choose to.
