It's a snow day

It's been snowin' and blowin' all day here (sorry this post is so late, the power was out too)

So Molly and I canceled all our plans for the day and stayed home for a snow day (even though I didn't have to work today anyways it gave me a good excuse to cancel house work plans too:D)
I sent Molly out on her own to "test the waters" i.e. see what the snow was like - she just stood at the door and looked at me like this

Love her white mask. Never seen that before on a Golden.

Love the snow, too. We haven't had that much here. Snow is so peaceful and calming, imo. :cloud9:

Hi Dracko... the white "mask" comes with age. Molly is quite a dark red golden so it is a bit more pronounced but lots of goldens seem to get white in the face as they age.

Yes, snow is very serene... just not when the wind is also howling like it's been here today. I love it when it is just big lofty flakes gently falling, or the lovely "lull after the storm" like when you wake up to fresh fallen snow and it muffles and makes everything look soft.... like a big :2huggers: for the earth:D

We had some minor difficulties in the first snow we had the other day... baby cuz got lost a few times:eek:. You'll notice that we've gone back to BIG cuz... less snow sticks to him and he's a bit easier to see:D

Heehee Duffy also enjoyed the Molly Fetch in the Snow Video - I think Duffy wants Molly to come out of the screen & say hello :D

That's why I love older goldens , specially the darker ones , their white maks shows more than the blond ones.

I love that kind of snow (ONLY on week ends though!) Molly seemed to have so much fun jumping to get the snowflakes , you go Molly ! :lovestruck:
