That's our newest rescue, Blondie. She's around a year old. Animal control wouldn't help her, so we took her inside. She had been living in an abandoned home. If anyone wants a cuddly, playful Siamese mix, just ask. Unlike Nymeria, she's healthy and adoptable.

Charcoal, our one-eyed baby. Adopted her at the same time as Moonshine. She and Moonshine are the only two cats we ever purposely got. There are two more, but they're ex-ferals, and only my mom can pet and cuddle them, so pictures are hard to get.

:laughing::laughing: For a second I thought Moonshine was Nymera and I thought "how did you get her to gain so much weight?!!!" Then I read the caption. I am glad to hear that Nymera is doing better and bless your heart for taking in these sweet kitties, I wish there were more people like you!

Awwww... the siamese mix!! I love that one. Wish I could take it, but the one cat that's here is having a hard enough time as is with the new doggie addition to the house.

If you're talking about the mostly white one with a tabby tail and tabby on her head, you're correct. She's impossible to get to lose weight. No matter what diet food we use, or how little we give her, she continues to balloon. She's not Hypothyroid, either. The one time we were moderately successful in getting the weight off, she turned into the cat from hell. Hissing, biting, attacking us, and growling constantly. Our vet thinks that she's just happier being fat. It doesn't stop her from trying to bully the other cats, either.

With regards to Blondie, she's rather high strung. Everytime she encounters one of our other cats, she vomits. Sometimes there's blood in it. We had her checked by the vet, and nothing showed up on the tests, so our best guess is that she doesn't do well with stress. If we can't find someone good enough to adopt her, we'll keep her, but its not the ideal situation for her.

*snort* walking vet bill.... yep, i see the little receipts hanging out between the hairs... oh yeah, must be related to two of outs!!! Hunter has a tech preference. duh!

have you tried raw?? that was the *ONLY* thing we could do to get the weight off of the boys. it also helps that they can eat a great deal and still loose weight on it.
