My dogs got full of fleas from a friends dog recently. I have applied Frontline 2 days ago but they will not stop itching and scratching. Should I bathe them?

I don't want to wash the Frontline off though.

Thanks

The itching and scratching is most likely from the flea bites prior to the frontline working. To the best of my knowledge, 48 hours after application there should be no problem giving a bath with an oatmeal shampoo. If the dog is allergic to flea bites then you may need more than just the flea treatment such as vanectyl P and even antibiotics if there's an infection. I'm assuming you got the frontline from a vet and that the vet has examined all the dogs?

I would check the directions on the treatment you gave. If you're still not sure, check with a vet and see what they say about bathing after giving flea treatment.
