Finally after more than a decade of NDP control we are in for a change. :thumbs up
Saskatchewan is a great place to live but the NDP had zero idea how to deal with the boom we are currently in. You can't just cater to the have not's and give things away to buy votes. You need progression and job creation.
Thanks Saskatchewan for speaking up! We're in for a good ride... :goodvibes:

So is the SKParty Liberal or Conservative?
November 8th, 2007, 12:57 AM
SaskParty is the Conservative Party 36 seats (52.2%)
NDP: 22 seats (36.2%)
Liberal Party: 0 seats (9.3%)
They took more than 50% of the votes to form the majority gov't, too.

I hope they don't make cuts to Saskatchewans health care. We had the NDP in power here for a couple of terms in the 90's when the economy was the pits. They lost to the Liberals who have been in since and have made drastic cuts to our health care. :frustrated:

NOTHING could be done to make our health care system worse than it is. The NDP have done nothing to improve it over the years.
Plus, I am not for FREE, FREE, FREE everything. Give it to the people who need it but if you can pay you should. Our system has the longest waiting lists in Canada. Quite obviously something isn't working.
And, as part of the new Premier's speech he said, "Hope beat fear." Couldn't have been better put. The NDP scares people in to thinking the Conservatives will simply rip everything away. The NDP brought themselves down by their "fear" campaign. Beautiful to see the people finally see through this and show it in their votes. The NDP lost seats they've held for decades. :thumbs up
Saskatchewan is in for a ride and for a change it will be UPHILL.
