You've noticed it. Sometimes they are just plain wired for W.E.I.R.D.
Oh sure most of the time we can put it off as a "off" day or some other form of momentary insanity but other times...nope, our animal is quirky.

Ceili: waaroof
Mum: Whatzzamatta baby? Come' ere.
Ceili: waaaaaaaaroof
Mum: Baboo whatzup? Come' ere.
Ceili: waararaaraaoof
Mum gets up to investigate. Mum finds Ceili lying in the hallway adjacent to the bedroom staring at the bed.
Mum: "Do you want to go to bed baby?" (Ceili waggs her tail and waggles her head but makes no move into the bedroom)
Did she hear? Misunderstand?
Mum asks agian.
It's possible Mum misunderstood.
So Mum asks again.
Nothing beyond the waggy tail and waggy face. And that means ???????
So Mum takes matters into her own hands, picks up the hinds and propels the front up and onto the bed. And she is rewarded with ?

Dramatic inhale, pause then look to the the window with a preening frontal poise "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" As if to say...Finally. Really Mummy, you just don't understand that I have real NEEDS".

My dog's quirky and spoiled ? Nahhhhhhhhhhhh......

But don't even TRY to tell me your animal isn't !

Molly's toy is this:

she just loves it. The squirrels have now been substantially maimed but we just stuff all kinds of other toys in the tree. (though now I see that you can get replacement squirrels)

You won't be disappointed! It's a great toy :thumbs up As long as your doggies aren't mass stuffie murderers . It's very interactive, you stuff the squirrels in the log, doggie tears them out, you stuff them in, they rip them out, you stuff them in... you get the point, it's not a toy to give to your dog and then walk away but It is soooooooooooooo much fun to watch them play.:D

Oh yes! All the things in the picture surrounding Molly came out of the tree, she's sulking cause I wouldn't put them back in. Sometimes I put a couple of food treats in too.

you stuff the squirrels in the log, doggie tears them out,

doggy rips stuffie open, doggy empty the stuffing , doggy send stuffing all over , human throws the rest in the garbage, human vaccums the pieces ... human goes back to the store and buys another one

omg.... they need to make that hide a squirrel thingy with catnip squirrels... Buddy would be in heaven!! I got them those dr.noys toys, a squirrel and a skunk that have a velcro pouch for catnip and they go bananas, the squirrel is getting kinda patchy in the fur department now and I haven't seen the skunk in weeks! (they like to hoard them in their hidey spots)... but hiding them in a plush tree... that would be too much fun!

Where did you get that toy?
