Italian Wedding This Saturday

I am going to an Italian wedding on Saturday. I am not sure what to weather since it's going to be 12 degrees with rain!

1) Should I wear my black and white poka dot dress which is strapless?

2) Wear a pearl grey dress with a little matching jacket...but it's conserative?

3) wear my trusty black cocktail dress?

I would go for dress #3, but might change my mind if you give us a pose of each one:D

Hmmm, I don't believe in wearing black to a wedding (I know, it's very old fashioned of me but still ...) so I'm gonna have to go with #2 unless you have a nice wrap that you can wear with the polka dot dress (so you don't freeze). If you have a nice wrap then the polka dot dress gets my vote :thumbs up.

First of all stop eating now. You need to have room for all the food you are going to be fed on Saturday. LOL

It use to be that wearing a black dress to a wedding was a faux pas but I believe now it is accepted.

Sorry I can't vote until I see pictures. Seriously I think you should wear whatever you feel most comfortable wearing.

And the temps are dropping all this week. If you're cold, it will be no fun (or you'll end up wearing someone's ratty sweater they just happened to have in the trunk of their car).

Sigh...men. The second pic is the grey dress Marko :D.

Definitely the grey with grey jacket Poodletalk. It's absolutely lovely and should give you enough room to breathe in all the food you're going to inhale.

The grey with jacket or the little black dress if you have something nice to wear with it when cold - I am always cold - and have a 1930s shawl - too bad I can't tie it right. I think perhaps the stocking debate is over!? Actually I always wear stockings because I don't have the legs to do without. Black is fine at Italian weddings - at least the ones I have gone to -everyone was in black - at the reception/party. Enjoy the food.

Thanks, I think I am going to wear the grey dress. The second picture is the dress without the jacket.

The next question: Should I wear stockings?

It's very cold and damp in Montreal today!
