I bought a Pug and he is 12 weeks old.. I have only had him for two days now,he is doing great except for we noticed all of a sudden there is blood,, its coming from his paws. I have called the vet and we are taking him tomorrow but I am worried.. This is my first Pug and I am not sure what to do..I tried emailing the person we bought him from to see if this has happened before but no response has of yet.
should I be worried? is this normal in Pugs?
need advice thanks

Blood coming from the paws is not normal for any animal - what part of the paws? the pads, between the toes, the nails?

Try to stop the bleeding with some paper towel, a paste mix of flour & water & a little tiny bit of pressure & Vet visit right away

Let us know how the vet trip went :)

the vet said not to worry,,its his pads that are bleeding.. looks like someone sanded them down, someone told me to use bag balm and it seems to be working.. now today hubby told me his eyes are bloodshot..
I think we are going to have to go back to the vet..

thinks I got sold a very sick dog:confused:

Eye problems are very common in pugs... breeders usually check for those kind of things. Sorry to hear your guy isn't well:sad:
