Canine distemper

I Am planning on getting a ferret and i was looking up on them on this site and i notised that it mentioned Canine distemper often, but did not mention what it is.

Distemper is a serous viral illness, and in ferrets it is 100% fatal. You can get your ferret vaccinated against it.
