May 24th, 2004, 04:01 PM
Now how did you know what Sadie was thinking??

She's even begged me to put off her spay LMAOOOO

May 24th, 2004, 04:06 PM

Cause I can read her mind from here......LOL

Sadie, you are getting spayed. No ifs ands or butts about it...... :D

May 24th, 2004, 04:58 PM
She's been lucky it's been pushed to the middle of June or later...depending on the findings of her dental visit.

They may spay her and do dental surgery at the same time, to avoid two anaestetics.

Keep ya posted on that one!

Wow, deerclan, he is absolutely gorgeous!! Your kids look sooo happy!!! I think you did the right thing!!! Congrats!!!

The more I looked at the pics of Simon, the more I realized that Brick does have Lab in him....they are very similar colouring and their faces are I know what Brick looked like as a pup!! Thank you DC!!!

May 25th, 2004, 10:28 AM
Congrats on your new addition. Your family looked like they were happy, and he looked like he belonged there and had been there all his life. I am so glad there is peole in this world like you that will help an animal out. I only wish there were more. Thanks and good luck! He is so cute! :D

May 25th, 2004, 05:26 PM
awwwwww :D

how old is Simon??!

May 25th, 2004, 07:34 PM
Simon is only 6 weeks

May 26th, 2004, 08:18 AM
Hey DC, you're sure he is Rotti?Lab???? I hope so, cuz that will end our suspicions about Brick!! I showed Tim the pics of Simon and he is now 100% convinced he is Rotti/Lab as well!!! Look at this pic of Brick and tell me you don't see a resemblance!! I tried to find a pic in one of the same positions as Simon in his pics!! I'm blown away at how Simon is such a mini Brick!!! I'm sooo happy!!!!!!! :D

May 26th, 2004, 08:33 AM
Holy Crap!!!!!!!!!!

Only 6 weeks old?.Are you sure?...He's is huge for 6 weeks.......LOL

WOW Catt, they do look alike........... :D

May 26th, 2004, 02:29 PM
My wife just slapped me in the back of the head and told me the couple that gave us Simon told her 6 to 8 weeks, sorry folks. OUCH! when i was talking to them i only heard 8 weeks. :o

Was talking to Luba and i have to agree with her, Simon might even have ridgeback in him or Maybe even mastiff will have to look at some mastiff and ridgeback puppy pics just for curiosity.

What ever the breeds he has or how old he is Simon will be well loved here :D

May 26th, 2004, 03:31 PM
First thing I thought of was, wow he looks like Brick!!!!

Now that Catt says it I don't feel so stupid lmao!

I was looking at some ridgeback pics and they have similar colourings..the mastiffs face is shaped wider but the colour is pretty close.

I dunno DC you're gonna have a big boy here either way I think!

BUT he is fantastically adorable!

May 28th, 2004, 02:22 PM
Now that Luba has peaked my curiosity about Simons breed I took these close ups. What you guys think!

May 28th, 2004, 02:23 PM
Deerclan, Simon is gorgeous!!! He and Brick are the reasons why purebreds shouldn't be the only dogs to consider. Ya done good!!!! :D

May 28th, 2004, 02:41 PM
He is so pretty! He just has a sweet little face! :D

May 28th, 2004, 03:08 PM
He is so cute I am glad you found your newest family member. Lots of luck and keep posting pics.

May 28th, 2004, 03:23 PM
Whatever he is,he is adorable!!!I think he has a little of Luckys Chloe in him..but maybe it's because of the colour.Chloe also has that really trusting sweet face. He's one lucky little pup :D

May 28th, 2004, 04:28 PM
ya.. no more than 9 wks :D

haha, i got Choco @ 10 wks :p

May 28th, 2004, 05:18 PM
DANG, he is cutttttttteeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!! When I looked at Chloe's pics I thought I saw a bit of Brick there I have NOOOOO idea what he is anymore!! Sheeshhh!!! He is just my angel boy!!! Maybe once Simon is a bit older you will be able to tell more of the breeds in him!!! But regardless, he is HANDSOME!!!

Thanks Chany for saying that about always makes me smile when people compliment my handsome boy!!! He really is a treasure and I couldn't have asked for a better dog!!! I would never trade him for all the tea in China - or all the biscuits in doggy land!!! :D

Hmm.. Both Simon and Brick look like they may have sheppard in them. Are you sure they're lab/rotti? Brick has the head and body resemblence as a rotti or pitbull, and they have the blended black fur on their back like a german shepperd would, but there's really no way to tell what kind of mix the dog is, unless u know the parents. The only thing I could really suggest is going to and search for mixed breed pictures of dogs (german shepperd/rotti pics, and pitbull/german sheppard. I do that all the time :D I love looking at dogs..

When we got Brick from the pound, they told us he was rotti/shep....and we were like..OK!! But the more we get to know him, I see some of lab qualities and the odd feature!! But like you said, who knows!! We will never really know 100% and I'm ok with that!! He does definately have a few shep qualities in him too - like scaling fences...LMAO!! What a dog!! :D
