HAPPY BIRTHDAY CYBERKITTEN
September 25th, 2007, 02:48 PM
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CYBER!
Hope you have something special planned.
Your personal ruling planets are Venus and Neptune.
Neptune opens your eyes to sights that people don't see, your ears to sounds that others can't hear. You are born with celestial connections, psychic vibrations and a remarkable "sense" of knowing. Yours is truly a spiritual and new age energy.
You are forever looking out for the needs or welfare of others, even when you should really be sorting out some of the stuff in your own life. Don't go to extremes and ignore the work that has to be done on your own inner level, as the deeper side of Neptune can confuse and deceive you just as easily. Issues of trust in relationships need to be addressed and stem from daily family conflicts.
Your lucky colours are the darker green shades.
Your lucky gems are turquoise, cats eye chrysoberyl, tigers eye.
Your lucky days of the week are Mondays and Thursdays.
Your lucky numbers and years of important change are 7 , 16, 25, 34, 43, 52, 61, 70, 79.

Hey guys!! Thanks so much!!! I really appreciate the thoughtfulness. It means so much to me!!!
I LOVE the images!!! :lovestruck:
Re this You are forever looking out for the needs or welfare of others, even when you should really be sorting out some of the stuff in your own life. My Gawd, I do not usually read that stuff - tho my sister gave me a tarot card set one yr, lol - and this one is so accurate that is is boggling. Both the good and the bad. Honestly, I do think sometimes I work on behalf of others and don't think of myself not just out of altruistic beliefs but because I don't have to then think about my own "stuff". I will try to listen to that more. I promise. :)
I did have a great day - thanks! It was busy but my office staff surprised me (and that's hard to do - I usually think I have a good handle on what's going on around the office, lol) and then they took me to a fav restaurant at noon - The Old Triangle if anyone knows Hfx- an Irish pub operated by Evans and Doherty , local Celtic singing duo. My guy took me to a more romantic dinner at Il Mercato tonite - ya think they all want me to gain weight or what, lol
The best was the kids tho - the kids on the oncology unit got together (one of my best friends, one of the nurse managers there) was a tattle tale, lol They all made things- drawings and craft items and some had their parents buy little things. On a point of principle, I am not convinced it is ethical to accept huge expensive gifts from patients but I love little ones, made with love and caring. Seven of the kids got together and bought me some jibbitz medical buttons -you know the little "pitons" (my Franglais" word for it) for the Croc shoes. They are ones with the Medical symbol, Red Cross symbol, stethoscope and some "ouchie" ones (looks like a bandaid). I include pix of the jibbitz. Both the kids and the medical staff very thoughtfully gave me my fav candy - those Boston Baked beans that are difficult to find, available in only two stores in Hfx - a candy store called "The Freak Lunchbox" and Jane's- a store run by a former patient actually so they were able to get them at cost. (Sadly, Jane is deceased now but I know the people who run it. Anyone who lives in the Maritimes, visit it off Queen Street - also not far from Spring Garden Rd. )
Yet another patient brought in 4 sets of sweaters her grandmother had knit for the kitties. That was also a wonderful gift!!
One of my best friends always gives me an annual subscription to Frank Magazine so that is also a fun gift - I give her one as well. She is a member of the legislature so needs it more than me - this is the NS version of Frank. It's a political satire mag.
My guy bought me jewelery - he says I never wear much but in my work, I might loose it in some patient when I operate (Never have because I do not wear it!!) but this was a bracelet, earrings (silver butterfly earrings) and butterfly pendant on a silver chain. I love it - will wear it on special occasions!!
My nieces sent me yet another pair of crocs - pink mary janes. (I have a love affair with shoes and especially like Crocs to work). I like the gifts by the thoughtful gestures means so much more!! As do the lobbery kisses from Bailey , Sam , Nelly , Ben , Monsieur le chat and Paddington and Hazel's pack!!!
Here are the jibbitz stuff:
