They're ALL beautiful shots !! They look so healthy ~ well-muscled with great coats and HAPPY !! :cloud9:

GREAT pictures of the doggies !! I love them all it's to hard to pick a favorite !!

I bet that they love the cooler weather we are having.. are they starting to get their winter coats yet??

Breeze, oh yes they are sure loving it! They are loving trying to drive me nuts with their extra energy too LOL I am itching to pull the scooter out but gotta hold off for a bit longer. If I pull it out too early OC will get bored of it before the racing season is over. But Ronan has been pulling tires and such and I have been putting their weighted backpacks on during walks. No winter coats yet, it is still a bit warm for that. After all their summer coats can keep them warm in -5C (i believe that is the temperature...could be colder)

Claire, when I dumped the pictures on to my computer and saw that one (OC biting Ronan's nose) I burst out laughing! The abuse they give eachother...LOL

The last one is definately my favorite! I think huskies are born with the innate ability to pose like that. My great aunt had a huskie named chinook who did that in every non candid pic, "oh you're taking my picture? Head tilt!" Excellent photos!!!

Breeze, it's called "stay" ;) LOL Around here, "stay" means hold the exact position you are in, kinda like "freeze" for human kids. That gives me time to zoom in, focus and snap a few and then I release them. Also my guys are silent watchers anyways. They spend a lot of time just sitting very still and quiet and watching. I dont need to give a command at all then I just grab the camera and snap away LOL

Growler, hehe ya sometimes it is hard to tell. In the beginning I thought Ronan was bi-eyed until one day the ratio of brown to blue in his right eye changed enough that it became obvious he was parti-eyed

It is definately possible:

I have the pedigree from both my Sibes - (Nisku was Nikkis' mother) & have found pictures of ALOT of descendant dogs (from all over the world incl one I just saw who was born in 2003 & is in Taiwan) from one particular male - Nikkis' Grandfather (multiple US/CA Champion) from her Sire & they all have very very similar markings :cloud9:

So if you gals have the pedigrees you can always compare ;)

I love it when dogs play like that, though! :cloud9: They look and sound all ferocious but they soft-mouth each other the whole time. :D

Growler, you never know, eh? I have OC's pedigree traced back a ways but I dont know anything on Ronan other than his parents. I could get his pedigree from CKC and start tracing from there but CKC always over-charges for everything >_<

Hazel, I often wonder how they dont hurt eachother! I mean OC and Ronan will grab eachother's scruff and shake like they would when trying to kill something or fighting another dog, yet its never a fight, they never yelp, and they never break the skin! And oddly enough they love doing it to eachother LOL The other wierd thing is they only do it to eachother, they dont do it to other dogs...

I wish I could remember where I put Summers :rip: papers. We got her from breeders in Prince George. They had just recently added the reds and I think their original came from the States. I still am amazed how much she looks like Ronan.

I love watching huskies "play" together too. I could watch for hours.....especially in the snow. :cloud9:
