Sudden, odd cat behavior

Hi, all! I'm posting this on behalf of our aunt. She has two cats, one of which has recently taken to peeing all over our aunts things - not her sons things, not "shared" things... just HER things. :frustrated: The cat is an otherwise healthy 2-3 y/o. It's costing her a lot of money b/c she's already lost a laptop bag or two, expensive sneakers, etc... but wants to remedy the situation so she can keep the cat. Thoughts? Experiences?

I think a vet-visit is in order, the kitty probably has UTI or some other kidney-problems.
Any potty-changes usually means a medical problem,or something new in the cats environment that stresses her out.

hey there LittleMomma! have your aunt take the cat in for a urine sample. to check for crystals and a general vet visit. could be several different health problems.

any big changes in the family? in the house hold? im just waiting for the day mine discover they can pee on our things when we go on vacation. it sure hits them hard!!
