Frozen Banana

Has anyone used frozen banana slices in a Kong? I was thinking of doing this for my teething puppy. I'm pretty sure banana is easy on the stomach.

When my husband eats a banana, he gives our Eskimo a tiny bit of it. As for being easy on the stomach, bananas are high in potassium and quite acidic - so maybe not so easy on the stomach. May vary from person to person and dog to dog.

I believe in "everything in moderation" when it comes to feeding dog treats. I wouldn't fill up the kong with bananas more than a few times a week. A good chew for a teething puppy is to wet a piece of denim and tie it into a few knots and freeze it. :pawprint:
