They're okay. But if you are going to commit yourself to homecooking, you can probably produce the same impact through your food choices.
When looking at food recipes look for high protein, high fat, stay away from grains and carbs like rice and pasta. Complex carbs like potatoes, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, acorn or spaghetti squash are okay though. The only protein I would avoid would be pork. You could probably get an anti-cancer diet book for people out of the library and adapt it for your dog (increase the protein).

Nope, just looked at the ingredients/ composition. But, if you are less than confident about your understanding of nutrition and vitamin/mineral in foods then by all means supplement. At the dosages given you are NOT reaching near to max/ toxicity so no worries that way.

Ok good I've heard something about wild mushrooms or something that helps cancer patients.
Any truth to this ?

Here is a link to a web site with a lot of information on holistic treatments for pets with cancer.
I hope this helps. My 15 year old 7 lb Maltese had a cancerous tumor removed from his leg 9 years ago. So not all cancer is immediately fatal.
Good luck to your Buddy!
