Poodle or poodle mix shelters/rescues in Mtl?

Dear members,

Some friends of mine are looking to adopt/rescue a poodle or poodle mix.
Are there rescues/shelters specializing in that breed. Any guidance?

Hi Marko , there is no rescue for Poodles only but petfinder is a great start (all the rescues are on it) Spca Laval and Montérégie are not on petfinder and have their own websites. Altough just a few dogs are listed so your friend should call them and ask. Berger Blanc have a website too, again, not all the dogs are listed tough. SCDD (shelter in St-Hubert) AMR (shelter in St-Constant) those are in South Shore that I know of. Good luck !
