Dog skin disorder and hair loss

My dog is a 1 year old spayed Golden retreiver. She has recently lost a patch of hair on her right cheek. It is about 4 inches in diameter, and looks scaley and rough. Can you tell me what it might be and if it is communicable to humans. Is it treatable. It has appeared rather suddenly, has a blue grey coloration.

Well since we can't see your dog to know what it looks like,it's hard to say what it is....All I can suggest is make a vet appt and have them check her out....Especially since you say it has a blue grey colouration...I'd be concerned...Hope it's nothing serious...
