Forest fires in BC and Montana have been painting our skies red, leading to some fiery sunsets over bales of hay. It was the second hottest July on record in our area.

There was a $1,000 prize for the best blueberry pie this year . . . . a 13 year-old had the best of 83 entries.

The floor is normally dirt for riding and such . . . . covered in some plywood and shavings for the exhibition. An exhibition hall, not a barn though.
