occasional lumps

Candy, the pup in my sig (actually she's 2 1/2 years old :o ) has had at least four lumps on her over the last two years, they've come and gone. Each time I took her to the vet, he dismissed it being serious saying it could be fat. The thing is Candy is not a chubby pup, she's actually very slim. He adviced me to apply Iodex and observe, and each time they disappeared within a week or two. Her current lump is quite huge and on her neck, and she will be seeing the doc in the evening, but I am sooo nervous that it could be something worse. In addition she falls sick regularly, I've treated her for fever twice within the last four month. Her appetite is not too great either. I am so stressed out over her here

Fat lumps are worrisome and some dogs just seem prone to them. To set your mind to rest, ask your Vet to test this particular one.
