Quivering lower lip?

Okay this is kind of weird, but........today I came home and my Minpin who is usually VERY excited when I get there was being held by my daughter, and as she looked at me......her lower lip was quivering. It reminded me of when an infant is very upset and crying, and his lip quivers. Has anyone ever experienced this? I haven't in all my dog owning years noticed this in a dog before...has anyone else? She wasn't cold or anything, just was really strange. Kinda broke my heart....now I may never leave!

Was it just the lip itself, or the whole lower jaw? Personally, the only time I've seen a dog quiver at all, it was Gracie and she was quivering her whole jaw...anxiety...

Yes I suppose it could have been her whole lower jaw. It did seem like some kind of emotional response such as anxiety or excitement...I just have never seen that before.
