I have a 12 week old kitten that has worms. We have given over the counter worm medicine and it has been about 2 weeks since the second dose. The package says to wait30 days and give again to prevent reinfestation, but the kitten still has worms. Is it safe to give it again now?

I personally don't trust over the counter meds...I have heard too many scary stories with not-so-happy endings. You should get a stool sample analysed by a vet so you can get the correct medication to treat the problem, then follow the directions on the prescription.

I agree with Bendyfoot, never buy any kind of meds at a store, your vet can treat a wormproblem easily and safely.

Yes, please throw the OTC "meds' away, at best they are crap and won't solve your problem. This is easily taken care of by a vet.

A dose of revolution usually does the trick and will probably cost you a lot less than the OTC crap in the long run. Take her to a vet to be weighed and purchase it there.
