Well, we're moved and Tommy now has his own little YARD!! Yayyyyyyyy!! It's taken a while to find the time to post since we moved July 1st, and my husband just started working after being at home waiting for his immigration papers for ages... so many changes at once, I've just been spending all my free time with Tommy. He's adjusting beautifully to all the new routines and surroundings, and he loves his new house and yard:D (we used to live in a 1 bedroom apartment, so a 3 bedroom house is HUGE for him!).
We haven't put down any piddle pads since we moved. Tommy had a couple of accidents the first day we were here - I don't think he understood that the upstairs is still related to the downstairs where the door is, LOL. But that's it, ever since he's trained himself to go to the door, what a brilliant boy:lovestruck: . He doesn't ask to go out yet, but he'll go and sit at the door and wait for it to magically open.
He's learning all about the joys of lying around in the sunshine, too. He'll go out and find a sunny spot somewhere in our dead grass and just lie there kind of dozing. I can't tell you how amazing it is to be able to let him out without a leash, I felt so bad about that at the old place! He still gets at least 2-3 walks a day, but now we can play fetch in the yard or set up his little wading pool and just enjoy it, since it's totally fenced in. It's a tiny yard, but hey - he's a tiny pup, too, lol.
So, we're back... and hope you guys had a great month too!
