:dog: My dogs started to sneez alot he has a running nose.What can I do?

It's normal. just wipe his nose. It only becomes an issue if it's non stop for days. Clear liquid coming from the nose is normal for a shih tzu, escpecially if the have pinched nostrils. Again it's only a cause for concern if it happens for a long time of the discharge is not clear. There are 8 Shih Tzu's in my family, and I work with a Shih Tzu breeder, They all get runny noses at some point typically after a fit of sneezing, hyper ventalating and getting overly hyper. So it is normal to see it, but not all the time.

For the sneezing, one thing you can do without going to a vet is:

When you guys take a shower, keep the dogs in the bathroom with you (not in the shower, just the room so they don't get wet). The steam and humidity can help clear the sinuses and upper airways. A humidifier also works well.

Sometimes antihistamines such as benedryl or chlorpheniramine can help but I would obtain a dose from your veterinarian prior to starting either of these.
