my cat has a large sore that began white and small and has now turned red and spread from his bottom lip to his top lip. it has small black spots near it in the hair under it but the spots flake off when I touch them. he is starting to struggle to eat but I dont know what to do. Does anyone know what it is. or how to treat it?
Please help
thanks:fingerscr

The best thing is to take your cat to the Vet - that's the best way to determine what it is & get treatment for it - especially since he is having trouble eating!! :goodvibes:

I don't understand why you haven't already taken this poor cat to the vet. When a cat is 'struggling', he is already quite sick. Anything to do with the mouth, particularly something which SPREADS, should be examined by a vet. If you can find a vet tomorrow, please take him.
