submit button

not sure if its only me....but....when i try to post i can't just hit the enter button....i have to scroll down with the mouse and hit submit...can it not be set to hit enter......it's just so automatic to hit enter.

Only then if you have more than one paragraph in your post, you'd submit your post before you were done. :eek: hazel always has more than one paragraph, y'know! :p She's a very wordy person! :laughing:

I'm a "paragraph person" too even though I'm not a "wordy person". :D I find it too hard to read a really long post that isn't paragraphed and tend to dismiss them especially if I'm in a hurry. :o Therefore, I wouldn't want that feature either. :p

it's a good question. I have no idea but I can check it out - though it may take me a few days on this one.

Yup good points...that I also thought of after I said we'd look into it.

The enter key adds a line break so I don't see how this is possible..

I guess for now we'll just have to scroll...unless someone can suggest an alternative.

well, just my two cents worth on this one....

when we hit enter while still in the text box it is and should be that hitting enter means make a new line/paragraph.

If you want enter to submit, place mouse outside the text box.....then it should work...going to test this now. Will edit this if it doesn't work, lol.

WOO HOO.....Wayne's "problem" is solved. :D

The other option that I've seen on some boards is if you hit ALT+S it submits (much like you would save a document in Word). :)

Oh and I think ALT+P previews the post...
