Swiss Cheese makes dogs vomit?

Hi all,

Did some quick google searching, but couldn't come up with anything.

Gave my dog a tiny bit of swiss cheese tonight (smaller then the last bit of your pinkie) and within 1 minute he vomited it up.....
Then went back to playing with his toy monkey. So he wasn't feeling bad or anything like that.
He gets a small bit of cheddar cheese everyday (to take his pill) so its not a dairy allergy.

No big deal just wondering if dogs are allergic to it or some other reason.

Thanks in advance :)

I never heard anything on swiss cheese.

Did he actually vomit or was it more like spitting it out cuz he though it was chedder then realize he didn't like it?

If you were eating the swiss cheese and you are fine and he ate such a small piece - likely a coincidence. I wouldn't worry unless other signs occured. If he continues to vomit with swiss cheese maybe there is a sensitivity to it specifically.
