Dogs in my life

July 3rd, 2007, 09:58 AM
Thought I would share some pics with you guys of some significant dogs that have been in my life (past and present).

This is me and my BF's American Bulldogs - Tank and Marina (RIP). Both dogs, especially Marina kept me safe when I lived with them for 3 months. Marina would never let anyone get close to me unless I commanded her to tolerate them.

Oceano (my dog) looking for squirrels with Dasha the Caucasian Ovcharka and Argo the Rottweiler who are owned by close friends of mine

Oceano checking out an ice flow on Lake MI

Me and Dourado the Eestrela Mountain Dog owned by a close friend of mine

Arx the Sharplaninec owned by a close friend of mine

Arx and Gaia (also a Sar)

Saidie the Golden Retriever/Malinois (best guess) owned by one of my sledding mentors

The pups at the kennel when they were still young and "innocent"

Wally one of the last White Water (I think that's the name) Siberians left

Lacey, despite her ripe ol age of 10 she still runs lead for me along side Ronan!

Lucas and I taking a break from training

Jac, the coolest wooly Sibe ever!!!!

Oceano and Bonnie

Alright I think that is enough pictures for now LOL There's so many dogs that have impacted me in some way or other but I guess I can really only bore you guys for so long....

The dogs all look lovely - so you sled?? I used to have friends who did sledding in Montreal many many years ago. I hope it goes well. The dogs all look so happy and well taken care of - that's nice.

Dog Dancer, yes I have been competitive for 4 years now, this season will be my 5th.

Cindy, Thanks!

Rainbow, I'm not sure if it is White Water or White River or something along those lines (I will have to ask my mentor again) but it was an amazing kennel that produced some phenominal racing-line Siberian Huskies. A few years ago they shut down their kennel and sold all the dogs. My mentor got Wally and is loving this line of Siberians. he tried to breed Wally but she would not take. He even at one point had the stud dog of his choice living in the same kennel has her during ovulation and after ovulation for I believe 2 weeks but she still didnt take and now is too old to have puppies anyways. We are now looking for any dogs from that line who may still be around or their offspring.
