I love them, heidi! Great spray on the wave! :thumbs up Awesome!! (I could never paint water )

But my favorite is the seascape framed by the flowers. :lovestruck: Really captures that tropical feel! I love his style on the flowers.

Yeah, I see what you mean--very clean and crisp. I like Mark's more vibrant color scheme better, though. :thumbs up

I'm not good with artsy stuff but I love the first one. We're having a heat wave right now so I would very much like to have this painting in my house :D

 Yeah i agree,i cant believe he is getting 2500.00 to do a painting, not that i dont think he is good, but it just sounds like alot.Oh well me and roxy dont mind.

June 27th, 2007, 10:28 PM
Heidi, honestly when I looked at the first one I went "OOOH !!!!" I thought it was striking. I like them both but I absolutely LOVE the first one ! I am praying that one day soon people who only have 2500 won't be able to afford a painting by Mark. He'll be famous and his price will have gone wayyyy up. :thumbs up (The only way anyone could afford one is with their discount.;) ;) )

June 27th, 2007, 10:31 PM
Now I'm taking a second look at the second painting and I can't pick a favorite. It reminds me of my honeymoon and these big fragrant flowers that were there. But I like the way your eye is drawn past the color of the flowers and you get drawn to the water--just the way you would if you were there.

Very cool !

June 27th, 2007, 10:37 PM
I really like the first one... REALLY!
its so simple and leaves so much to the sences ( I can almost hear the wave, the birds, the wind...)
ONe day when I have $3000.00 just "laying around" I would definately be interested in a painting like that.

June 28th, 2007, 01:28 PM
Those are both very very nice paintings. They look so good, I want to travel into the paintings. Ahhh, nice cool water...:)

I'm not sure which is my favourite, I keep changing my mind!

June 28th, 2007, 03:21 PM
Ok new discount 1000.00  I have to print this out so he can read,i hope you all are being honest!!!!!!!

Okay, my favourite is the first one. It looks so real. The second is lovely and the colours and flowers are striking, just not my style, it doesn't look as real I think. Beautiful pictures. Like the others said, please tell Mark I'm impressed with his talent. I'm sure the gallery will want his paintings. If not Wyland, someone else will. :fingerscr And congrats on the $2500 contract too! Excellent work.

June 28th, 2007, 05:03 PM
Thank you my printer is still not working i want to print this page to show him,i am suprised how many like the first one better. But flowers arent for everyone..

June 28th, 2007, 05:22 PM
I actually love the second one best, although they are both beautiful.
Love the detailing and the colours.
