my sister and her husband love fishing. they live on a the citys old reservoir turned lake/park/fishing spot. would the fish in there be good for our cats and dogs on a BARF diet? not bottom feeders?

I would say yes, but with any wild animal, i would freeze for a few days before feeding just to be safe. want4rain June 6th, 2007, 08:25 PM um, surface to mid depth. we wouldnt want to feed him cat fish or anythign that hung around the bottom. :) quite frankly those are too big for any of our pets to eat whole! bass are about it i think. there are some other smaller surface fish. they also have grass carp and catfish but i would imagine being bottom feeders those would be the first to carry a disease. -ash | ||||
