Thank You!

Thank you Pets.ca!!
I posted quite a long time ago about my dog Gunner, and his bad leg. I got a lot of help and suggestions from people and it really helped me through his healing process. Today he's as stubborn and annoying as ever! And unless you know where to look you wouldn't even be able to tell he'd had such a bad injury! All the people that posted really did help alot, and I just wanted to say thanks! And if Gunner could talk he'd say thanks too. Right now I'm away from home, working a summer job before university, and I cam home last weekend to find that they'd shaved him! Poor thing, but he loves it. Ugly as sin though :P I suppose you know you love them when you can still call your dog "pretty puppy" when he looks like a pig! Anyway, thanks everyone! <3

Glad to hear that Gunner's leg healed well. :highfive: But, why did they shave him now? :confused:

They shaved him because it's getting really warm home, and poor thing is a bit on the chubby side. So they lightened him up a bit, and he loves it. It makes clean up easier too! Mom and gunner like it so much they've decided to shavve him once a summer. Doesn't do much for his looks though. I had one little girl comment "Oh! Wow he's chubby!" Cute, but horribly true.


I've actually got some pictures of Gunners leg after the accident but they are pretty graphic in a couple so I don't know if there's any rule on posting them? If Not I'll give a link, theres also a couple of cute pictures of the pink sock I made him wear to cover his bandage :) I also have a few videos of him playing in the snow and tug of war on youtube that I'll post with the pictures if I get the ok !
