We dogsat our friend's 7 month old GSD mix this weekend- Sushi. Helix was so excited and happy all weekend! All they did was play and sleep :) Sushi is on the small side at only 26 lbs, and he's quite a bit more shy and submissive than Helix. They got along fine though and followed each other around all the time.

Always a treat to see little Helix:thumbs up he is one cute fella. I'm sure he loved to have a playmate for the weekend, maybe he should have a brother or sister for good:D

LOL, We would love another dog (and so would Helix!). But right now, we don't have a fenced backyard - or own our own house for that matter. Plus we'll be moving to a new city (Vancouver or Toronto) in just over a year so we're still a bit unstable. We really want our next dog to be a large breed rescue, probably young but not a puppy, and we just aren't ready for that yet :(. It'll probably be another 3 years before we'll get another dog- unless the perfect guy comes along I guess (he would have to be small right now though and my husband really wants a big guy). I check out Petfinder weekly :thumbs up. I LOVE LOVE LOVE chocolatecoffee's foster puppy!
