She's so pretty! Before you know it, she'll be over the hyper phase and a well behaved young lady. :D (It can happen-my boy, who's now 18 months old, has suddenly become very well behaved. Hold in there, breeze!)

Great pics. :thumbs up

She is super cute, you just want to squeeze her...if you can catch her!!

Anyone know how to teach the "go to sleep" command?

May 16th, 2007, 11:28 AM
Fordgirl the only thing I know is to walk her for 2 hours play until her tounge hangs out and run with her and make sure no one is in the house (kids) close all light curtins and then you might be able to get her to sleep for a while lol lol lol just joking I have never heard of the sleep command

I know what you are saying, I have a full throttle dog too, use to take her an hour and she was pooped now she goes to day care and plays the entire 7 hours!!! 2 hours at the dog park is nothing, then she comes home and chews a bone for an hour!!

I wish there was a "go to sleep" command, it would be useful. LOL! Just getting her to settle would be a start.

May 16th, 2007, 11:38 AM
I know you can take her with you on your trip this weekend  lol lol then maybe they both would sleep and tire each other out

Dog Dancer
May 16th, 2007, 11:53 AM
Bree is just too cute for words. I've always wanted a Berner (and a Newf, and a Boxer, and a Borzoi....) At our agility class a few years back there was a young Berner and her name was Halo. I was so taken with that girl at the class I named my next dog (a lab X) after her. I now have my own Halo (so to speak..) I tried roller blading with my dogs once, terrifying, once was enough! Your man is brave.

May 16th, 2007, 12:11 PM
Dog dancer My husband loves to rollerblad and he did it with my other dogs I am not so brave I can hardly stand up by myself on those things. Bree does not understand that she has to go a certin way but he is teaching her, it not to bad he says. everytime he does this it does get better(she is learning what rollerblades are for), we just have to watch that it is not to hot (weather)for her, we only do this on cool days. It does tire her out (for a while)

omg bebbeh BERNER!!!! Your girl is so sweet! :cloud9:
