SO we finally got the BBQ out today, and had cheeseburgers (insert drooling smiley guy here!). Since I promised them, here's some pics for TD to drool over.

Burgers on the grill:

Fingal trying to convince his Dad that he should taste-test the burgers for us.

Nekkid on the plate (we forgot to put the cheese on them outside, though. Oops!)

Skryker burgers-A1 sauce, mustard, onions, pickles and tomatoes!

Mr. Skryker burgers-all of the above and hot pepper relish, too.

So you can virtually enjoy them, without worrying about the calories or fat content!

And two patient doggies finally getting their burger.

First BBQ??? Holy crap I've been BBQing for well over a month now... I would do it in the winter if I could! :lovestruck:

Oh, but I'll have my cheeseburger with mayo, ketchup, tomato, fried onion, hamburger relish, and honey mustard. :cloud9:

The neverending rain and starting dinner really late have kept us from it so far-we're late this year. :o

The snow piles up against the garage door, too, so winter BBQ is not an option. My one uncle solved the winter problem by placing the BBQ on the deck right under a conveniently low window-he just opens the window when he needs to flip stuff, and there you go! Winter BBQing at it's finest. That is, he gets to stay inside where it's warm.

Same here, BBQing has been going on here while there was still a bit of snow on the ground.
Either way, better late than never...

*erykah prepares to fire up the ol BBQ thanks to this thread*

Not that far away, and there's a whole plate of leftovers.

trippincherri, they barely left any pattern on the plate-I expect any day now, my blue dishes will be completely white.

We've talked about chaining the BBQ to the side of the house so it doesn't have to be put away after every use, and that way we could use it all year...it'd be a heck of shock to wake up in the middle of the night because the house is shaking as someone tries to walk off with the BBQ one night! :D

Mine is right beside my door, my little 'backyard' area. I don't bother chaining it, but I do BBQ as late as Nov/Dec and as early as March. I just love it too much, there's no other way for steak!

BTW Seriously, try fried onions on your burger, it's amazing! :thumbs up

If we didn't chain it up, it'd be gone. Sad fact. This neighbourhood could have a wall of posters of missing BBQs. And missing snow blowers, snow shovels, garden ornaments, lawn gnomes, gardening tools-you get the idea.

Those chickens look great, Wayne! Have to give that a try.

jiorji, not only does he know how to dress his burgers, he's the burger chef, too. :o I can't stand handling ground meat so he does the honours. Only thing is, he's so used to cooking for a crowd he can't make less that about a dozen and a half burgers at a time. Good thing the dogs like 'em, too, and I like left over burgers for breakfast. :D
