Loungin' tewfs...

May 10th, 2007, 10:39 PM
I had to make up for the blurry pics from yesterday.:D

My man brought the tewfs and Boo to my work today for a visit. :) We all walked over to BMD's work to say hi and show her how we're doing...

Look how handsome I am...

May 10th, 2007, 10:41 PM
Don't take my kong, don't take my kong, DON'T TAKE MY KONG!

Oh, yeah. This is the life...

These tewfs wear me out...

Did I mention how I was handsome?

May 10th, 2007, 10:43 PM
Hey, don't forget me! I'm so pretty too. And I'm soo soft!

Gimme some water already!

How you doin'?

Why do they get all the attention? Look how perfect I am.

Leila newfin' it up.

May 10th, 2007, 10:45 PM
Ok so can SOMEbody give me a belly rub? Anybody? Hellooooo?

I give up.

mmm... Kong... Never gets old...

Oh and for the adopter question in the other thread, there were two, but they didn't work out, but now there's a really, really promising one. :fingerscr

May 10th, 2007, 10:57 PM
Gotta love the laid back doggies :cloud9: and of course Boo is also looking very handsome but where is our darling Jemma?

Keeping my fingers crossed that the perfect home is on its way (or at least one that's a close second to you guys :D ). :fingerscr :goodvibes: .

May 10th, 2007, 11:02 PM
Where is Jemma?

There she is! (always either there or under the dining room table). She's still not in too good shape though...

May 10th, 2007, 11:26 PM
Awww poor Jems. Is her ear still bothering her???

I love the "I give up" Pablo shot. By far the cutest pic.
And Leila is hilarious with that kong lol, does she just pack it around with her or what?
And Boo.....*sigh* what can I say? I love Boo and thats all I can say, he's so handsome lol.

May 10th, 2007, 11:29 PM
Um... Well... It was too terrible to say, so I didn't say it...:o Jemma had to go back to the vet yesterday to have the ear foamy re-sewn to her ear.:o The knots came loose and it wasn't going to last another week... So they resewed it... Let's just say they didn't use any sedative and Jemma's the biggest, bravest, awesomist good girl in the whole world. :o :o

My poor doggy.

May 10th, 2007, 11:37 PM
Wow nothing to numb the pain? She is tough.
Poor girl she's having a rough week.

They look so great! You are doing a WONDERFUL job Prin.

Boo looks handsome as always...and poor Jemma, still beautiful :grouphug:

May 11th, 2007, 10:28 AM
Awwww sweet a whole bunch of pooped pups :)

We have a Newfie breeder in the village here and her dogs fur is longer, I didn't realize that it varied!

May 11th, 2007, 10:47 AM
the tewfs had their long matted and neglected fur all shaved off a few weeks ago... it's in the process of growing back into a luxurious, clean coat :highfive:

so do we take a number to come cuddle? :D

May 11th, 2007, 11:14 AM
ahhhh I see, I was wondering why they didn't quite look the same :)

May 11th, 2007, 11:30 AM
Yeah, what techno said.:D I posted the before and afters here:

Chico, I'll miss them too. I'm not so eager to get rid of them, but at the same time, I am because I don't want to get even more attached... Right now, it's as though they're my forever doggies... :o They just blend...:D

Anyhooooo...

Well the tewfs and Boo look as wonderful as always. But my heart goes out to poor Jemma. Hugs to her for how brave and wonderful she is.

May 11th, 2007, 01:16 PM
WOW what a difference
That hair even looked like too much for a furminator

:grouphug: hugs for Jemma though, what a sweetie she is!

May 11th, 2007, 03:41 PM
The tewf look really happy. I hope the prospective family makes them as happy as they are at your house.

Jemma IS a brave girl. No anesthetic, wow. I hope she's feeling alright by next weekend, I can't wait to meet all the doggies.

May 11th, 2007, 03:48 PM

May 11th, 2007, 04:22 PM
Such adorable pics, Prin, as always!:cloud9: :highfive:
I can sure understand your mixed feeling on the adoption of the tewfs.
Longer it goes, the harder it is..
I hope the new prospective people work out though for their forever home.:fingerscr

I'm so sorry for your sweet Jemma.. poor girl has really had a time of it, hasnt she, and has been such as trouper!:cloud9: :grouphug: for Jemma.

May 11th, 2007, 04:57 PM
awwww poor Jemma. I love the newfies, and I love seeing them get all nice and healthy and fuzzy. I love Boo and Jemma too of course! And they are so good for putting up with fosters.

I also love when other people's yards look like mine-dirt with a few grass clumps. makes me feel better I'm not the only one! :D

May 11th, 2007, 06:32 PM
LOL! I hate grass (allergies...), so I don't mind the dirt... It's all compact so it doesn't even get mucky when it rains.:D

Stacer, I don't know how it's going to work... It's likely we'll still have the newfs next week, but we can't really bring them with us to the meet up because Leila's really not too happy with new dogs..:o

Jemma is a brave girl. The minute she's allowed, she's so going to my dad's cottage for a swim. She needs a break. :cloud9:

May 11th, 2007, 06:57 PM
AAAHHHH - relax, leisure, luxury!!

Don't they look right at home?!

Jemma is such a brave girl! I bet she's looking forward to that swim!

May 11th, 2007, 07:07 PM

btw, the tewfs are adorable as always!

May 11th, 2007, 07:40 PM
:cloud9: awww Pablo and his belly rubs :cloud9:

May 12th, 2007, 01:25 AM
Hugs to poor, brave Jemma :grouphug: :lovestruck: .

May 12th, 2007, 08:22 AM
Lol, my office mates are still recovering from their sheer size. I required a sponge bath after they left from slooby kisses. They are doing great and the potential family is having a home visit done over the next few days. So we'll know soon when they'll be coming up to meet the two of them.

Prin and her man are doing an awesome job with them. :thumbs up

May 12th, 2007, 10:02 AM
I Had a long chat with someone while i was working yestereday about these two. SHe has a newf already
I told her all about Leila and Pablo, she almost looked interested:D
I wonder if she will apply for them. I hope she does, I told them where she could find them online and that they had to go together. I could see the wheels turning.
I personally think she would be perfect, she lives on a huge farm just a couple roads over from me and is all about dogs ( much like I am lol)
Either way, Prin, they are looking great! I showed my BF them yesterday andhe fell in love with them ( he's a sucker for big doggies, just not rotties:shrug: ) but we are both well aware that anymore dogs for us is NOT even a thought.
I hope they find themselves a home thats just as good as their foster home:pray:

May 12th, 2007, 01:44 PM
Thanks.:o I took Jemma to the dog food store to let her pick out some goodies and hang out without the big guys around for a little bit.. Poor doggy. Took me like an hour to clean her ear today. So crunchy. She's definitely a toughie and she trusts people (which I hope this doesn't change..:o she still has to get another tooth out...)..

While I was gone, the tewfs were totally clean! Leila, in the beginning, had some separation anxiety pee when she was left alone, but it seems to be ok now. :highfive:

May 12th, 2007, 04:22 PM
YAY TEWFS!!!! They're so cute, so cute, so cute!!!

Give Jems a big kiss for me....poor little sweetie....

May 13th, 2007, 04:49 PM
Awwww....poor Jemma. Big HUGS from me. :grouphug:

The tewfs are looking great :lovestruck: and Boo is just as handsome as ever. :cloud9:

May 13th, 2007, 06:54 PM
Poor Jems, it is such a help that she is so easy going though. Hopefully it won't change like you said:fingerscr Poor thing, she is after going through quite a lot:sad:

Glad to hear that the Newfs are clean.:thumbs up

May 13th, 2007, 07:09 PM
Thanks.:) Jemma is a trooper. She's such a brave girly. :o

May 14th, 2007, 03:39 AM
So how does the home visit work, you check the yard, the megapixel of their camera and their internet upload caperbility

May 14th, 2007, 12:21 PM
lol I wish! :D The family is pretty far away, so somebody else will be doing the home visit for BMD. I think the basic guideline is "Will they be spoiled rotten here?" :D

May 14th, 2007, 12:54 PM
:thumbs up Really nice shots Prin! Love the close-ups!

May 14th, 2007, 04:28 PM
In my next life I hope I come back as a dog and get to live at Prin's!:thumbs up
