same ol' beanies, but with new camera

May 7th, 2007, 07:16 PM
Well we're back to SLR photography, LOL! and.... i am in love with my new camera, specially after the sony cyber-shot fiasco (what a lemon). the Nikon D40X is a smaller, lighter & simplified version of the D80 and it's PERFECT for me. tried out a few different settings today with the kids and I am one happy camper! woo!

enjoy the beanies, the post-water drinking drool, the green grass and the "don't ask" shots, LOL!

dakotah's always been pretty good off-leash, but we worked on the recall a LOT. maika... well she's only allowed freedom in certain places. she "tunes out" when something catches her interest and then forgetaboutit. :frustrated:

May 7th, 2007, 08:43 PM
I asked cause I am working on Bree but her recall is only if she feels like it lol lol she is only 9 months and I thought maybe it the age thing.

:sorry: don't want to take away from your thread

The color is amazing TD!!
Very sharp photos, amazing detail.
Looks like I could reach out and touch them.

I like Maika's goofy head scratching position and when she's bug hunting.

May 7th, 2007, 10:07 PM
he he yes she loves to hunt bugs... ladybugs... and when hops onto her head though, she don't like that much! scratch scratch!
