Is oatmeal ok for cats??

So i eat oatmeal now,totallt hooked on it,i put honey in it,and roxy loves it,i just put some on my finger and she licks off,but was thinking since she doesnt eat her wet food anymore,i was just gonna put a littel in a bowl for her,is it ok for cats?

I suppose small amounts would not hurt her..

i would think it is good for them,but not sure about the honey part but she sure does love it.

Puss-Puss :rip: used to love it. She would just eat a couple spoonfuls of it. Mostly, she cleaned up all the goey, creamy part and left the oatmeal flakes in the bowl. I put brown sugar and evaporated milk on it. She probably just loved the milk taste.

I see no way that oatmeal would hurt a cat. As long as you don't add anything to it that a cat would be allergic too or something, theres not really a problem. My cats eat cereal all the time. I don't exactly feed it to them but they want the milk and will eat some of the cereal too.

The worst I could imagine is if it didn't settle right and your cat coughed it up...
