Some pics and questions!!!!

April 12th, 2007, 04:22 PM
Ok so as i stated is the thread What you love that your pet does.I wrote i love how she goes under the bed when i make it then darts out liek she is gonna attack my feet, then stops and goes back under bed, well last night i was putting laundry away and she was under the bed and i dont know what got into her but she came flying out from under bed and i mean flying, she actually caught air, ands latched on to my ankle area and bit me and scratched my leg,the first time she did it i told her no and pushed her away, but when she came out the second time ears were back and i swear she was not playing she was pretty set on latching on to my leg.Now here is the question she does not ever do this w/mark ,ever,i was wondering could it be because when i go outside and bob and momma rub all over my my legs and obviously feet area, maybe she smells them or something?? Any ideas, cause that is all i can come up with.

And just a few more.I also remember at this age how Damien was like a bad teenager, and she is about the same age, could that be it??She is at that age like a teenager??If so though why does she not attack mark??

April 12th, 2007, 04:48 PM
ok that is all the pics,i am ready for some ideas on her behavior.

April 12th, 2007, 04:59 PM
oops i see i posted same pics..ok thats really it

i think she's just playing. Maybe Mark gives her treats behind your back to bribe her into not biting him:evil:

I noticed animals tend to act differently with different people. Maybe she sees you as more of "prey" than Mark and more of a target for attacking lol Or maybe if she did that to Mark he'd want her out.

I think she'll grow out of it, just try squirting her with water when you see her doing this.

April 12th, 2007, 05:50 PM
oh and she looks as cute as ever :cloud9:

April 12th, 2007, 06:03 PM
She is too cute...Sorry Heidiho...I think you're prevoking stop and don't get her into any trouble. I think you should stop walking by the bed:D

April 12th, 2007, 06:04 PM
Yeah i didnt think of that,i swear she knew i was mad to ,cause after she did it,i shut the door and kept her in the bedroom for like 10 minutes,so i could let the shock subside(ha ha) and when he came home (normally she is at front door or goes right up to him as soon as he walks in) she stayed under the bed,all you could see was her nose ,and hse just laid there til he went it to pick her up.Well i swear i dont get it.,i feed her, love on her and i am the one who gets scratched, what is it w/ me and pets,i just dont know.

I agree with Jiorji, she's probably just in that devilish playing stage. Keeping a squirt bottle handy is a good idea. Show her two can play that game and she won't win! You can set her up with that by having it in hand and hanging out at the side of the bed - wiggle your toes and wait:laughing: Then be quicker than her! Even if she's not playing, she'll get the message that you don't want her to do it. The ears back probably means she's just really intent on this prey game of hers. Silly (but very very cute) girl.

April 12th, 2007, 06:08 PM
LMAO over here,i know i do have some nerve folding the laundry on the bed, when under the bed she is trying to rest. When he got home i had him walk around the bed like he was making it,cause she went back under the bed,NOTHINGGGGGG,i walk around bed again, guess what, she tried it again......I really was hoping she was doing it because she loeved me that much and was jealous cause she smelled the other cats on me,oh well!!!!!:yell:

April 12th, 2007, 06:22 PM
oooohhh are your toes painted??

that could also provoke her. Some animals like colours flashing around.

April 12th, 2007, 07:17 PM
Are u serious..They are a light pink color. But i would never buy that in a million years...

April 12th, 2007, 07:24 PM
well light pink i don't think is flashy enough. But i am serious. I had a hamster once that was trying to eat my fingers because i had bright red nailpolish on them but he wouldn't try to eat anyone else's fingers

she's probably just in that devilish playing stage.

Not sure about the age having anything to do with it. Monsieur le chat is about 3 yr old and he does the same thing. I think they play and get too excited and just want to take a bite out of you, not to be mean, just to play

April 12th, 2007, 07:55 PM
I am gonna stick w/ my theory that she smells them.. :frustrated: :o

April 12th, 2007, 07:59 PM
I am gonna stick w/ my theory that she smells them.. :frustrated: :o

But Heidiho, she likes her mom sooo much she just wants to take a bite out of you :cloud9:

April 12th, 2007, 08:11 PM
Aw, she sounds like she's just havin' a good time... Dad's too impressive cuz his voice is deeper and he's bigger...that makes Mom the obvious target.... Teenagers! hrumph!

She sure is cute, Heidi! :cloud9: And I don't see any drops of blood on her or pieces of your skin hanging off her claws, so I'll just continue to picture her as the sweet little girl she must't she? :D

You Guys Are So Funny,i Am Gonna Take Picture Right Now Of My Wound Hold On

April 12th, 2007, 08:34 PM
You see that horrible cut,  it really was bleeding alot yesterday, but yeah she is my angel of terror, wouldnt have her nay other way..Well im off three day weekend...ALoha

April 12th, 2007, 08:43 PM
Awww, poor Heidi (you big wimp :D ). I agree with the others, it's just play stuff but I would do as others suggested and keep a squirt bottle handy for when those claws come out. Also, do you trim her toenails? I do that with Fred because he likes to use "kneed" his nails when he cuddles. You just trim them like dogs nails back to where the quik is.

April 12th, 2007, 08:50 PM
wuss  when Monsieur le chat decides to get bitty and scratchy , I just say OUCH and he lets go.

April 12th, 2007, 09:17 PM
*squint* i can barely see what i'm looking at...probably a papercut

you should see my chest. It's all scratched up cos miss Peanut only likes getting picked up when she feels like it. Also no good to pick a cat up when there's pigeons on the balcony.

April 13th, 2007, 03:13 PM
lol Heidiho. Roland does this too and only to me. maybe its a mommys child thing. except he backs off when i manage to detach him from myself and then comes in again for more until i have to leave the room or get mauled. does she get this very determined look on her face and a very particular look in her eye when she does this?
I havent managed to stop Roland doing this. all i try to do is make sure if im on the ground that there is a toy handy to stick in his mouth and say "no, eat this" when he tries to eat me.

April 13th, 2007, 03:53 PM
OMG,she is just such a princess, knows exactly how to pose:lovestruck:
You mean that little scratch I can hardly see:laughing:
My Rocky attacked me,frightened of a strange cat outside,my DR thought I had been in a fight with a tiger:yell:
6 weeks of antibiotics, treatment by a woundspecialist every week, all that remains now are a few ugly scars and a big dent in my leg, that was an angry attack, actually not directed at me,it's called something like reverse aggression.
Roxy is just having fun, because you are a big suck:laughing:

Fordgirl, I love Pubert's name - makes me laugh every time. I can see him running down the hall doing the chop chop thing. Heidiho you're a wussy if that scratch is your biggest problem. Squirt bottle kiddo. And yeah, learn to trim her nails a bit if you don't already. You really just need to keep the tips off them. My cats never minded when I did it, but don't wait too long to start or she'll hate it. Good luck you big sissy you... I get bigger scratches when the dogs greet me when I come back from the grocery store.

April 13th, 2007, 07:48 PM
I agree she's just being a kitten lol.
Our cats WILL NOT bite my man for just anything, he has to seriously provoke them and even then he gets a little nip and thats it, while me on the other hand gets ripped to shreds so you are not the only one.
And my cats are all 7 years old, my cat Harley would literally launch herself off the furniture at me, it was very scary.
I think because we spend the most time with them they see us as their equal, a playmate. I just fight back....they love a challenge.

And get used to the scratches, they just get bigger as she grows :D

April 13th, 2007, 11:51 PM
I agree she's just playing and I love all the pics. :cloud9: Especially the one of her licking her lips next to the pic of your little owie. :D

P.S. Maybe she needs a little playmate. ;)

April 23rd, 2007, 08:22 PM
Pretty funny huh.Sometimes she does seem pretty mad ,the other day i was on toilet and she was sitting there and i could actually hear her sniffing then she went sideways ears back and lunged at my ankles..She also does not do this to mark, she will play w/him and nip his hands, but nothing like what she does to me,i thought you would find picture pretty funny, hey it really was bleeding alot..
